Inge Janssen is Head of Public Affairs EMEA at Booking.com.

Since 2016, she has been working from the Amsterdam headquarters of the successful Dutch online booking platform. Inge leads the EMEA policy team and has been closely involved in establishing the global public affairs function for the company.

Booking.com was founded in 1996 and has grown from a small Dutch startup to one of the largest travel e-commerce companies in the world. Booking.com invests heavily in practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and, as one of the largest European tech companies, has a leading position in the Netherlands and in Europe in the area of innovation and tech.

Between 2009 and 2016, Inge was a senior public affairs manager at Liberty Global in Brussels, working on EU internet, telecom and media policies. Prior to that Inge worked for 3 years in the European Parliament as a Policy Advisor. Inge holds a master degree in Arts and Science from Maastricht University and a postgraduate degree in EU, UK and US copyright law from King’s College in London.
