Martin Nolan

Skyscanner

Martin Nolan is Senior Director of Legal, Public & Regulatory Affairs. He joined Skyscanner in 2017 and now devises Skyscanner's Public and Regulatory Affairs strategy, and advises on matters of policy and regulation and their potential impact on disruptive technology businesses, the platform economy and the travel industry.

Martin strongly advocates for choice, trust and transparency for consumers in travel, and regularly meets with key stakeholders in Brussels seeking to help shape existing and new regulatory matters, focused on aviation distribution issues and problems/initiatives affecting technology platform businesses more generally.  He also spends time in Washington DC, including acting as Skyscanner’s representative to the board of The Travel Technology Association.  Martin sits on the UK Government’s transport focused Expert Trade Advisory Group.

In addition to Public and Regulatory Affairs functions, Martin also advises on the interaction of regulation with consumer-facing products in travel, through his role as Senior Director of the legal team at Skyscanner.
