On October 10, eu travel tech Chairman Simon Gros spoke at the 18th European Tourism Forum in Helsinki, an event co-organised by the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland and the European Commission.
This year the event was dedicated to the theme of digital transformation and its role in promoting sustainable growth for EU tourism sector.
eu travel tech was invited to discuss the topic of data management. Our presentation focused on the use of data on tourism and travel services, showcasing how eu travel tech members are turning data into actionable insights. Our chairman offered practical examples on how data is enabling new services, improving the customers’ journey in the pre and post-booking stage, and also how it is changing the tourists’ experience at the destination.
